The summit of the Arbel Cliff rises like a steep wall 400 meters above the Sea of Galilee. At its foot lies the village of Magdala. In the afternoon when the sun is in the west, the Sea of Galilee, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Bethsaida and the land of the Gadarenes are revealed from the Arbel in all their glory - truly a living map of the life and works of Jesus.
