Hermon Stream (Banias) Nature Reserve – waterfall and hanging trail area

The largest waterfall in Israel is in the Nahal Hermon Nature Reserve (Banyas). Above the year-round flow of water there is a “hanging trail”.  

Reserve and visit responsibly! The site is open to the public with restrictions due to the coronavirus crisis. Due to limitations on visitor numbers at any given time, visits must be reserved. Entry will be permitted only upon showing confirmation of reservation and only at the time shown.  For more information Please note: Hermon Stream (Banias) Nature Reserve consists of two areas: the springs  |  waterfall and the hanging trail You’ll need to make a separate reservation for each area, but one ticket is valid for both areas.
Attention: Entering the water is prohibited due to flora and fauna conservation and safety concerns.

Hai Ramon

Hai Ramon is a living desert park where small animals that play an important role in the desert ecosystem can be seen in their natural habitat, animals that you wouldn’t ordinarily encounter on a hike. There is also a botanical garden here with six different habitants typical of the Negev Highlands. Part of the garden serves as a refuge garden for endangered species.
